Take one wide photo and one close-up
The wide photo shows access and surroundings; the close-up shows the actual problem.
Add rough dimensions
Exact measurements are not always necessary at first. A tape measure in the photo or basic width and height can help identify materials and tools.
Describe the desired outcome
Instead of just saying fix this cabinet, explain what should work differently when the job is done.
Flag utilities or structure
Mention wiring, pipes, leaks, roof damage, structural movement or permit concerns early so the request can be routed correctly.
Include timing
Tell us whether the job is flexible, tied to tenant occupancy, needed before photos or connected to a closing date.
